Edinburgh’s local evening newspaper has featured Eagle Couriers, Scotland’s biggest independent courier firm, after the firm moved to a new purpose-built HQ in Bathgate, West Lothian.
The Evening News told how Eagle Couriers’ relocation has come about as part of a move to maximise it’s delivery service throughout Scotland and the UK by having a central hub with easy access to all major transport links.
The expansion has seen Eagle Couriers retain its existing depots in Edinburgh and Glasgow but around 30 staff will relocate from Edinburgh to the new HQ in Bathgate’s Easter Inch industrial park.
Eagle Couriers has recently announced a number of major new business wins including the Agency for the Legal Deposit Libraries as well as continuing its existing work with BT, the Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service and Scotland Excel.
