Scotland’s leading independent courier company Eagle Couriers gained some coverage last week in the Edinburgh Evening News after they were able to take a vital engine piece of the Ghost Bus Tours from the Scottish capital to London and return it fixed by the next day.
The iconic 1960s bus, which was formally used for funerals, is the only vehicle the Company has in Scotland so they were no spare pieces available were the broken part was discovered on Thursday afternoon. Eagle Couriers took care of the issue and were able to deliver the broken water tension pump to London’s specialist and bring it back to Edinburgh so the Bus could offer a weekend of scary fun adventure.
Gawain Fraser, the General Manager of the Ghost Bus Tour, said: “Thankfully we chanced upon Eagle Couriers who managed to get it there by 09.30am the next day – and didn’t charge anything extra. The fixed part was returned and our lovely old bus was back on the road in time to send our weekend customers home frighteningly happy.”
Jerry Stewart, Director of Eagle Couriers, said: “Once we got the call, we realised how vital this delivery was for them. The part was expedited to London extra quick and thankfully we were able to help get the Fright Bus back on the road in time to scare its’ passengers socks off.”
The coverage was achieved as part of an ongoing PR campaign for Eagle Couriers.
