Eagle Couriers22 MAY Edinburgh Evening News PG 21 CROP gained some sweeping coverage this week after a nest of protected Blue tits was found in their Bathgate-based HQ ashtray. The Daily Record, The Sun and Edinburgh Evening News told the story in their papers and online.

The courier service staff has been banned form using the outdoor cigarette bin after finding the tiny, protected birds nest perched inside the bin.

Jerry Stewart, one of the directors at Eagle Couriers told how smokers were alerted when the tiny birds started darting in and out of the ashtray, which was installed in a brick-built bin storage area so smokers could enjoy some shelter.22 MAY The Sun PG 25 CROP
