News of dental group’s lockdown treatments hit local headlines across Scotland
AS Scotland entered a second lockdown, Clyde Munro Dental Group, shared some good news with the nation, with the help of Health PR experts.
Clyde Munro are continuing to offer a range of treatments to patients throughout the second lockdown in all 45 of its practices.
Our Health PR team shared the story, bringing in the following results:
- 21 items of coverage
- 191,387 opportunities to see
- Specialist dental coverage in The Dentist
- Regional coverage in North Edinburgh News, Highland News and In Your Area
- A host of local coverage including Inverness Courier, Deeside Piper and Herald, Ellon Times, Oban Times, Banffshire Journal and Greenock Telegraph (print)
Jim Hall, founder and Chief Executive of Clyde Munro, said: “The safety of our staff and patients is our top priority and we have worked hard to ensure we have in place all the necessary precautions to safely provide the essential care our patients need during this challenging time.”
After Holyrood PR received a journalist enquiry following news of the treatment availability was posted on Clyde Munro’s social channels. From there, our team had the idea of regionalising a press release on the story.
This led to a large number of regional and local cuttings across Scotland, delivering the news of Clyde Munro’s opening to all the areas in which it operates.
Our PR experts were able not only to report back to Clyde Munro with this local coverage, but also achieve prime coverage in The Dentist, which also shared the story on its Twitter and Facebook pages.
