Tech PR Agency Helps to Spread Experts’ Warning for Online Shoppers About Fake Goods
AHEAD of Black Friday, Kenny MacAskill, chair of the Scottish Anti-Illicit Trade Group (SAITG) had a stern warning for bargain hunters regarding counterfeit goods – we issued his concern via our tech PR resources.
The former Cabinet Secretary for Justice urged online shoppers to be savvy in their hunt for a bargain and wary of those trying to flog cheap fakes.
On behalf of our client, the Scottish Business Resilience Centre, we organised a stall at the Howgate Shopping Centre in Falkirk, where Kenny was joined by representatives from Police Scotland to speak about the pitfalls of online shopping.
His comments were picked up and syndicated across a range of different titles to ensure his comments reached far and wide.
The event generated an impressive 14 separated cuttings and an impressive 78,278 opportunities to see.
- Coverage across the local press titles, including the Midlothian Advertiser and the Galloway Gazette
- Impressive feature in the Falkirk herald
- Further articles in local titles such as the Arbroath Herald, The Buteman and the Deeside Piper
