Coastal Showhomes Launch at Desirable Postcode

Property PR promotes new CALA showhomes at Marine Rise

THOSE dreaming of settling by the sea can now discover two newly launched showhomes in one of East Lothian’s most sought-after postcodes.

Marine Rise, located in the coastal village of Gullane, is the latest premium development by CALA Homes (East) to launch new showhomes for potential buyers to explore.

The two exciting new showhomes, which are situated on the historic site of the village’s former Marine Hotel and later the Scottish Fire Rescue Service College, will open to the public this Saturday, 5th May.

The showhomes have been designed to highlight their spacious layout and warm interiors, with living space carefully designed for all the family.

Soft, pastel tones have been used throughout by Carol Yates Design to incorporate the properties’ tranquil setting along the coast.

Carol Yates, owner of Carol Yates Design, said: “The showhomes have been inspired by Gullane’s lovely location and all that goes with it, including a relaxed lifestyle by the coast with outdoor pursuits such as golf and coastal walks.

“The colour and pattern are very current – soft pastels and brights are the new neutrals as well as blue tones. Both trends have been applied to the showhomes.

The coastal influence is there too with a lot of use of blue hues and turquoise which is very current. A touch of the Hamptons comes to Gullane.”

The development will also welcome two new apartment showhomes in late summer – one of which will be situated within historic Henderson House.

Situated just 21 miles from Edinburgh’s city centre, Gullane is a popular retirement and commuter location.

The village offers potential buyers a charming selection of shops and amenities along its picturesque high street, with the seaside haven of North Berwick just three miles away.

Those looking to explore the area further can enjoy the award-winning beaches and championship courses along the ‘Golf Coast Road.’

The development itself also connects to the famous John Muir Way, providing walking routes around the county for families to enjoy and nature enthusiasts to take in East Lothian’s breathtaking scenery.

Philip Hogg, Sales and Marketing Director with CALA Homes (East), said: “It is a real privilege to be able to offer homes in such a distinct and locally loved landmark.

“The incredible renovation – and the homes in the grounds around it – will offer something for all tastes. What is undeniable is that the location is incredible and we can’t wait to launch on-site this weekend.”

Prices for homes at Marine Rise start at £515,000, and apartments from £385,000.

CALA Homes is headquartered in Scotland, employs more than 850 people and earned its reputation on the high quality of the homes it builds, which are sensitively designed.
