Letting agent Citylets has featured on the Home Move Channel website because of predictions made by the Edinburgh-based firm.
Writing for the UK website, Catherine Deshayes, reported on Citylets quarterly findings. The lettings agent predicted that rent levels in Scotland had bottomed out, bringing the prospect of stability to the region’s recently volatile market.
But the article also told how the overall picture across Scotland has steadied, with the average rent in the third quarter down 3.4% compared with the same period of 2008, to £640.
Citylets’ founder, Thomas Ashdown, was quoted in the piece as saying rental prices were at the “bottom of the curve” and predicted that the market would progress on a more even keel in 2010.
Citylets receives PR in Edinburgh with the Holyrood PR.
