Chocolate brussel sprouts grabs headline for Perth Chocolate Festival

We worked with local chocolatier Decadently Pure to come up with a headline grabbing gimmick – chocolate Brussels sprouts!!! We’ve been going even more chocolate mad than usual here in the Holyrood PR office recently due to our client, The City of Perth Winter Festival’s chocolate based event.

Yes, you heard correct and we’re not talking about lame chocolates with a Brussels sprout wrapper, we’re talking the real deal – actual Brussels sprouts covered in actual homemade chocolate. So, after subjecting the crowds at the City of Perth Chocolate Festival to the free trials of the Christmas treat and securing a host of top coverage we thought it was only fair to brave up the challenge ourselves with the classic HPRTV taste test.

Thankfully, we’ve also managed to secure four flavours of Mackies new chocolate bars to test at the same time that should help make for a more pleasant after taste. Mackies aren’t a client of HPR but we’ve been impressed by their recent PR campaign to employ a chocolate taster as they launch their new range – and lets face it we don’t much excuse when it comes to trying these out.
