Youngsters from the Belarussian area are still paying the price of the notorious 1980s nuclear reactor accident which devastated the area and left a legacy of radiation-related illnesses and genetic problems.

Every year 25 children from the Chernobyl zone are brought to Scotland by a charity group and get free health treatments which will help extend their lives by up to two years.

Dentists from Lubiju in Leith, one of Scotland’s most advanced and ambient cosmetic dental surgeries, provided free dental check ups and other treatment to you the youngsters when they visited Scotland in July.

The latest coverage appeared in The Probe, an influential dental magazine which reaches 15,000 subscribers in the UK dental profession every month.

Lubiju enjoys a healthy media profile thanks to the work of Scottish public relations agency Holryood Partnership, PR in Edinburgh
