Bield reel in a month of Integrated PR Success with the help of charity PR Experts
OUR CLIENT Bield has had a month of integrated public relations successes as Holyrood PR helped share a host of stories with the Scottish public as we ease out of lockdown.
We helped share a host of stories during July putting Bield in front of the right people.
Highlights include:
- 31 pieces of media coverage.
- Over 268,000 opportunities to see across print, online and social platforms.
- A host of coverage in trade and specialist media with key titles include Scottish Housing News and Housing Scotland Today.
- Several hits in the local papers of Bield’s housing developments across Scotland.
We helped share a story about a couple who secured their dream new home in Edinburgh, after carrying out an innovative property viewing over WhatsApp from 8000 miles away in South Africa. This piece showcased the charities mission to adapt their services in order to deliver the best possible housing and meet the needs of Scotland’s ageing population – and shared a new digital message from the charity. Read the story here.
July also saw a celebration of staff at a day care facility in East Dunbartonshire who went above and beyond to support customers and vulnerable members of the community throughout the Coronavirus pandemic. The whole team worked extremely hard to make sure customers were able to continue living fulfilling lives throughout the pandemic. Read the story here.
As lockdown restrictions brought all events at Bield to a stop, two customers at one of Bield’s housing developments decided to create something positive out of the uncertain time – sharing the story with local media, achieving great results. The piece looked to highlight the amazing job customers had undertook and thank them for their enthusiasm, as well as shine light on the grant fund donated by Bield which help to undertake the project. Read the story here.
We also helped Bield share two new appointments during July – Diana MacLean, Director of Customer Experience and Iain Baxter, Digital Project Lead. Bield took this as an opportunity to communicate its strong position as it works towards strategic objectives and whilst coming through the other side of the Coronavirus pandemic. Read the story here.
Holyrood PR helped share positive messages across Bield’s social channels and made a focus on the stories of the people working behind the scenes with a series of ‘Meet the Team’ style posts. The aim of this was to help humanise the brand, create engaging content that Bield followers want to interact with and share their successes – whilst getting to know some of the people behind the scenes helping to provide the great service.
Holyrood PR shared these stories with regional, local, trade and specialist publications and social media, achieving amazing results which help put Bield and their news in front of the correct people.
Bield is a registered charity which grew from humble beginnings, starting out with one housing development in Bo’ness which has gone on to become a major provider of housing and care services for around 20,000 older people across 22 local authority areas.
Our team of Charity PR experts are here to help your business spread positive news and tell powerful stories to the right audience at the right time.
