Community project wins the hearts of local media thanks to charity PR experts
CHARITY PR experts at Holyrood PR helped Paths for All celebrate a local initiative which saw a Rabbie Burn’s inspired trail brought back to life by volunteers.
Local volunteer group, Opportunities in Retirement in collaboration with South Ayrshire Paths Initiative, Ayrshire Council and Paths for All revamped ‘Blue Bonnet Trail’ path route in the heart of the community.
The team at Holyrood PR secured an interview with South Ayrshire Paths Initiative representative, Colin Clark and Chairman Stuart Bates who shared their insights and experience working on the project.
The efforts of the volunteer-led project secured the following impressive results:
- 7 items of coverage across print and online media
- Over 146, 381 opportunities to see
- Featured in national, regional, local media and specialist media
- Highlights include Ayrshire Live, Ayr Advertiser and Good Health Magazine
Our PR team made sure to share the story with key local Ayrshire media as well as national and regional titles, securing a coverage across print and online publications.
This story put Paths for All in front of prime audiences in relevant publications which helped highlight the amazing work carried out by volunteers while also raising awareness of the path route itself. The coverage also shared the charity’s key message of getting Scots across the country to spend time outdoors.
