Bield and Paths for All partnership secures media coverage thanks to charity PR

SCOTLAND’S walking charity and a leading housing provider joined forces earlier this year – and we helped share the news.

A partnership between two of our clients, Bield and Paths for All, has seen tenants at Stirling’s Strathallan Court benefit physically and mentally by joining in with a new local walking group.

Run by one of Paths for All’s walking projects, Stirling Walking Network, the walks begin outside the Bield retirement development and offer walkers of all abilities the chance to explore different routes around Bridge of Allan.

Led by Development Manager Sandra Nicol, the walks are dementia friendly and give tenants of Strathallan Court and the wider community an opportunity to socialise whilst getting out and about in the local area.  `

We told the story of the valuable partnership between Bield and Paths for All and helped to generate a wide range of media coverage.

Some of the highlights included:

• Vital coverage in the region’s two main papers – Stirling News and the Stirling Observer
• National coverage on Scottish Field
• Specialist coverage on Scottish Housing News and Housing Scotland Today
• A total of 11,831 opportunities to see

Securing coverage not only helped to raise the media profile our clients separately but it also secured the reputation of Bield and Paths for All as collaborative organisations, working together to get more people across the country walking every day no matter their age or ability.
