on behalf of Edinburgh Children's Hospital Charity
THE CHILDREN at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children have been treated to a visit from Police Scotland’s newest four-legged recruits, thanks to the Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity (ECHC).
The visit put a smile on the young peoples’ faces, who got an opportunity to name the two German Shepherd pups Otto and Karma, and learn more about the training which prepares them for their important role in the police force.
This lighthearted story was a media hit, with highlights including:
- Online coverage on Scottish Field and The North Edinburgh News
- Key print coverage in Edinburgh Evening News and The National
- An overall reach of around 30,771 people
The recognition gained for ECHC through a variety of positive coverage across digital and traditional media has helped to promote the amazing work the charity does to create a transformative environment for children undergoing treatment at the hospital.
