Britain’s Got Talent winner’s AGM performance secures a raft of top coverage thanks to Care PR success
ANNUAL General Meetings aren’t known as the most exciting and fun things to go along to.
However, leading housing and care provider Blackwood bucked that trend when it hosted its AGM at the Assembly Rooms in Edinburgh.
It has a proven track record of success when it comes to its AGMs and this year’s was no different with an ‘escape the room’ theme for over 100 customers in attendance to enjoy.
Not only that, Britain’s Got Talent winner, Lee Ridley a.k.a The Lost Voice Guy, brought the house down at the end of the day.
We knew that having such a star in town was certain to be a sure-fire hit with the media and utilised our bulging contacts book to ensure that the story was placed in all the key media titles to include messaging about Blackwood’s new customer engagement plan called ‘Making the Connection’.
Our team of Care PR experts generated some incredible results;
- Coverage in key industry titles including The Carer UK, Scottish Housing news and Third Force News
- Local coverage in The Edinburgh Reporter
- In total our story reached over 45,000 people
The articles helped reinforce Blackwood as a forward thinking care provider, committed to enabling its customers to living their lives as independently as possible and putting them at the heart of everything it does.
