Linlithgow sheltered housing complex and its residents were featured in Care Industry News, as residents were taken on a tour around the world’s best cuisines.

The event was aimed at giving residents the chance to try out new international dishes as well as a chance to take part in a series of fun activities.

The meals were served for lunch and dinner over the course of a week, much to the delight of the Brea Court residents.

Each tenant was given a passport which they had to bring with them ‘to board’ SS Brae Court and each day the passports were stamped and put into prize draw.

As well as triggering memories of the travels some of the tennents had been on throughout their lives, the initiative also broadened the horizons of some of the tenants who had never left the UK.
