CALA Homes (East) has celebrated one of its busiest Saturday’s to date at its East Lothian show home thanks to its free ice-cream giveaway that attracted an influx of sweet-toothed visitors.
Designed to mark the success of its award winning “Raspberry Ripple” themed show home at its prestigious Gilsland Grange site, hungry house hunters were thrilled to be greeted with their very own iced delight.
Paying homage to the area’s traditional seaside roots, an old fashioned ice cream cart provided sweet treats to potential buyers visiting the development, whipping up a range of different flavours to tantalise the taste buds.
However, those in attendance weren’t just impressed with the delicious flavours as it was also reported that many of the visitors had been blown away by the showhomes at the development that they have already booked second viewings.
Sarah Stanger, Sales and Marketing Director at CALA Homes (East) said: “We are delighted that the day was such a success and everyone enjoyed their free ice-creams, whilst also getting the chance to view the award-winning development.
“Despite the typically Scottish dreary weather we had a fantastic turnout, and interest for the properties has increased even more. With only a handful of homes remaining at Gilsland Grange, the clock really is ticking now, as we countdown to the final available plots.”
Just six homes are left at the sought after development, made up of a mixture of roomy five bedroom family homes.
Having already attracted buyers from Edinburgh and beyond, with many lured to the town by the quality of life, unspoilt coastline, good schools and excellent commuter links to Edinburgh, just 25 miles away, the remaining homes are not expected to be available for long.
Sarah added: “The development has been exceptionally popular with many unable to resist the exceptional quality of life North Berwick has to offer.
“Match that with our high quality homes, designed to sympathetically fit in with the beautiful surrounding scenery and it really has been a recipe for success.”
A major feature of the properties is the gardens, with views to the famous, North Berwick Law, which looms over the seaside town. The showhome garden also comes with its own putting green, paying tribute to the legendary Links golfing heritage of East Lothian, which makes it a magnet for players from all over the world.
The final properties are available from £565,000. For more information about Gilsland Grange visit http://www.cala.co.uk/homes/development/Gilsland_Grange/.
Following on from the success of Gilsland Grange, in North Berwick, CALA has just launched another luxury development to the seaside town – Priory Meadow
