CALA Homes (East) is showcasing its latest development at Craigpark in Ratho this Saturday 17th October.
This show village will feature three varied showhomes available to view, allowing homebuyers to experience CALA’s latest designs first hand.
Viewings of the stunning 4 bedroom Elliot, 5 bedroom Melville and 5 bedroom Garvie showhomes are available from this weekend.
The development of 111 homes in the up and coming suburb of Edinburgh will comprise a variety of spacious four and five bedroom detached houses and four bedroom townhouses. The first phase will consist of four and five bedroom detached homes starting at £455,000.
The show village will highlight CALA Homes’ originality through Interior Designer & Owner of Luma Interiors, Joanne McDonald’s, designs. She said: “My designs for the interiors of the three new showhomes at Craigpark are put together to reflect the lovely balance between country and city living that these houses have to offer.
“I have created sophisticated interior schemes with modern colour palettes and design led furnishings and touches. There are elements that make one think of lovely woodland walks, a trip on a canal boat, and at the same time perhaps a walk through the West End of Edinburgh stopping at a fashionable café along the way.
“The interiors show how well these house styles will be used for entertaining to impress, as well as comfortable, functional everyday family life. Each house style is different, each with its own personality which I have designed individually to appeal to the tastes and lifestyle of different home owners – all of them make great use of space and light and were lovely to work with.”
And outside the house is just as breath-taking as the interior, as Craigpark sits on the edge of a former quarry boasting spectacular views across the iconic Forth Road Bridges and into Fife, which can only truly be appreciated in person.
This brand new development not only boasts an idyllic setting, surrounded by attractive woodland, offering peace and tranquillity but also easy reach of local facilities and all major commuting routes; perfect for families looking to relocate for a more outdoor lifestyle.
Indeed Ratho is also known for being one of the best connected villages in Scotland, sitting on the west edge of Edinburgh just minutes away from the M8, M9 and Forth Road Bridge. A further testament to its location is the short eight minute drive to Edinburgh Airport, perfect for high flyers in the business world or jet setting holiday lovers.
In addition, it has walkways and cycle paths close by and the Edinburgh International Climbing Centre almost on its doorstep. The village includes an award winning bistro and a brand new marina, and all just a ten minutes walk from the development.
Sarah Stanger, Sales and Marketing Director for CALA Homes (East), believes Ratho is fast becoming a rural hotspot and says a trip to the development is well worth it for the view alone.
She said: “We are extremely excited to launch our show village to allow those seeking a new home to really get a feel for exactly what they are looking for.
Craigpark is the perfect choice for those who are working in the centre of the capital during the day, but who wish to exchange this for a sense of tranquillity in which they can enjoy family life outdoors in the evenings and on weekends.
Ratho is a fantastically positioned suburb with everything a home owner needs, but it’s the lifestyle and views that really separate it from the rest, with Craigpark offering instant access to stunning scenery and fabulous walks.
With three stunning showhomes and these breath-taking views, the development is well worth a visit and we expect most visitors to be pleasantly surprised.”
Each of CALA’s Craigpark properties have been designed with flexible family living in mind, and include spacious open plan kitchen / family areas, stunning formal lounges and generous bedrooms many with en-suite bathrooms and built in wardrobes, with the first residents set to move in from January 2016.
