CALA Homes (East) officially launched its exclusive location-inspired showhome on Saturday (30th April) at its newest Currie hotspot, The Meadow.
VIP guest, Councillor Ricky Henderson, did the honour of cutting the ribbon alongside players from Currie Football Club, for which CALA provide sponsorship, declaring the showhome officially open and encouraging house hunters seeking a luxury lifestyle to come along for an exclusive first look.

Acclaimed interior designers, Jeffreys Interiors, were tasked with bringing the charming three bedroom Arthur showhome to life.
Miriam Carr, Interior Designer, and her specialist team were inspired by the development’s location, which is close to both the city and countryside, so the interiors have been designed to reflect both types of lifestyles.
Miriam said, “We aimed to create a light and calming space with pops of vibrant colour and fun, innovative wallpapers such as Dogs by Jane Churchill in the utility room – ideal for parents and children and one of my particular favourites. We’ve also introduced a gorgeous hot air balloon wallpaper by Manuel Canovas in the nursery.
“With interesting feature wallpapers, patterns and lots of colours throughout the house, this home is filled with character and flows throughout.
“One of my favourite rooms is the lounge. While there’s lots of vibrant colour and impactful designs in many of the other spaces; we’ve deliberately kept the lounge relaxed, light and fresh with most of the key pieces of furniture and walls in a calming, neutral colour. We’ve also incorporated colour in the accessories with a palette that picks up from the prints and artwork by some local artists.”
