on behalf of CALA Homes
VIP guest, Councillor Ricky Henderson, did the honour of cutting the ribbon alongside players from Currie Football Club, for which CALA provide sponsorship, declaring the showhome officially open and encouraging house hunters seeking a luxury lifestyle to come along for an exclusive first look.
Offering the convenience of a short commute into the Capital’s city centre this flexible, family friendly development will have its spacious private gardens, ensuite bathrooms, and generous built-in storage available to view at this specially designed showhome.
Acclaimed interior designers, Jeffreys Interiors, were tasked with bringing the charming three bedroom Arthur showhome to life.
Miriam Carr, Interior Designer, and her specialist team were inspired by the development’s location, which is close to both the city and countryside, so the interiors have been designed to reflect both types of lifestyles.
Miriam said, “We aimed to create a light and calming space with pops of vibrant colour and fun, innovative wallpapers such as Dogs by Jane Churchill in the utility room – ideal for parents and children and one of my particular favourites. We’ve also introduced a gorgeous hot air balloon wallpaper by Manuel Canovas in the nursery.
“With interesting feature wallpapers, patterns and lots of colours throughout the house, this home is filled with character and flows throughout.
“One of my favourite rooms is the lounge. While there’s lots of vibrant colour and impactful designs in many of the other spaces; we’ve deliberately kept the lounge relaxed, light and fresh with most of the key pieces of furniture and walls in a calming, neutral colour. We’ve also incorporated colour in the accessories with a palette that picks up from the prints and artwork by some local artists.”
A Range for all Buyers
Situated in close proximity to the Pentlands these properties are situated in a highly sought after area, with good schooling and transport links to the city making it ideal for families and commuters alike.
With a range of three, four and five bedroom homes from CALA’s award winning Signature Range and the option of either detached or terraced living, these 17 properties showcase homes for all buyers, while ensuring a comfortable, light-filled living space.
Stala Thomson, Sales Manager with CALA Homes (East), said: “We are very excited to have launched our showhome at The Meadow and we’d like to thank Currie F.C. and Councillor Henderson for doing the honours at the ribbon cutting as our VIP guests.
“Currie is ideally positioned with everything a home-owner needs within reach, but it’s the lifestyle this well connected semi-rural location offers that really separates it from the rest. Currie is known for its good schooling and convenient transport links and with the backdrop of the Pentland Hills, this area also offers access to some of the most stunning scenery and fabulous walks.
“The volume of interest for CALA at the Meadow has been fantastic so far and we expect this to grow with the opening of the new showhome.”
Those looking to find out more information on the luxury development are being encouraged to visit the Meadow’s website – where potential buyers can register their interest and discover more of what the luxury range of properties have to offer.
The showhome at the Meadow development is open daily, 11am – 5.30pm.
