CALA Homes (East) officially launched its exclusive location-inspired showhomes on Saturday (16th April) at its newest Edinburgh hotspot, Liberton Grange.
VIP guest Councillor Keith Robson did the honour of cutting the ribbon and declaring the show homes officially open, and house hunters seeking a luxury lifestyle with just a short commute into the Capital were encouraged to come along for an exclusive first look.

Acclaimed interior designers, Jeffreys Interiors, were tasked with bringing the five bedroom detached showhomes to life, with each one featuring different yet complementary colour palettes.
Each property has a luxurious yet affordable feel with eclectic touches, layering textures, natural finishes, scandi-style furniture and distinctive mid-century inspired pieces.
The specialist team, headed up by Interior Designer, Miriam Carr, skilfully embraced the location and heritage of the former Scottish Water Treatment Works site, which boasts open views over the Edinburgh skyline and Arthur’s Seat, combining a stylish palette of cool blues, greens, teal and aqua to reflect water and sky influences.
Miriam said: “The Liberton Grange showhomes offered great scope for us in terms of creativity with expansive spaces and original layouts to showcase our designs, style and individuality.
“We have had a number of our expert designers working on this project and you can see how their unique approach and creativity has influenced the interiors. We’ve created feature walls in both show homes with innovative paint features such as a dramatic circular wall m
ural in one of the Crichton’s main bedrooms and bright coral stripes in the study. Jessica Zoob wallpaper and Elitis cushions bring a pop of colour to the Cleland and our Velvet Toucan lamps add a quirky, stand out touch.
“Local artists including Jenni Douglas’ work, which is inspired by the city scape graces the walls and we have featured many of our own bespoke Jeffreys pieces such as our custom upholstery with beautiful plush headboards, which are really on trend and make a dramatic statement. The stylish floral armchair in the Crichton home is a particular favourite of mine – it’s a standout accessory, which creates a real summery focal point in the room.”
Situated just off Liberton Gardens, the development offers breath-taking views over the Capital and occupies a prime setting less than five miles south of its vibrant centre.
