Projected economic boost from Boroughmuir restoration makes CALA top dollar in the media thanks to Property PR
THE REDEVELOPMENT of one of Edinburgh’s most iconic old school buildings will deliver an economic boost of over £45 million to the local area.
Homebuilder CALA Homes (East) will restore the former Boroughmuir High School to offer 87 refurbished contemporary one to four bedroom apartments. In addition, a further 17 mid-market rent apartments will be delivered.
An indication of the scale of likely benefits to the surrounding area has been set out by independent experts, who assessed the economic impact of the plans laid out by CALA.
The scale of the restoration and the proposed economic benefit it will bring to the area has resulted in a wave of media coverage. Some of the highlights included:
- Large spread in the Edinburgh Evening News in paper and online
- Hitting new audiences through The National Business supplement and other business sits such as Insider
- Key features in property and trade titles such as The Herald Property, Property Scotland, Build Scotland and Housebuilder & Developer
- A reach of over 470,485 opportunities to see
Widespread media coverage across a range of different publications ensure that CALA’s key messages and reputation as a premium homebuilder reach the audiences that matter most.
