The team at well-established independent IT support firm, Euro Business Solutions, have featured in a popular news site, which reported how the company absorbed a smaller rival.
Since it was founded in 1997 by Alex Donaldson and Bob Bell, the company has enjoyed steady growth and built up a portfolio of 120 clients, including Hibernian Football Club and Edinburgh International Confernence Centre.
Now the company has added a raft of 26 new clients by merging with Edinburgh-based Interact IT, a deal expected to add £175,000 additioinal revenues to its annual £1.2m turnover.
Since brokering the arrangement news of the merger has been widely reported by local media and business titles – including this extensive coverage on the Edinburgh Reporter news site, which gets more than 10,000 unique visitors per month.
Now boasting a 13-strong staff, the company offers support for businesses with desktop PCs, servers, networks and business software. It also speicalises in hiring of IT equipment for conferences and events and in strategic consultancy.
As part of a new push to grow through further acquistions of smaller, independent IT companies, Euro Business Solutions is working with PR experts Holyrood PR, public relations agency in Edinburgh, to improve its profile and built on the company’s excellent reputation.
