BuildScotland.co.uk, one of the leading news portals for the Scottish building industry has highlighted the success of the ELPG’s Spring Sales initiative.

The website, which is read by managers and senior figures across the Scotland’s building and construction sector, reported on the innovative property scheme – which has already helped spark more than £6 million of sales across the Lothians.

The initiative was set up earlier this year by the ELPG group – which consists of leading property solicitors Warners, Neilsons, Drummond Miller, the Lints Partnership and Leslie Deans & Co. Dozens of properties were advertised at cut-down, bargain prices and would-be buyers had the chance to see how much the new values had been cut by.

The scheme was intended to help spark life back into the property market across Edinburgh and the Lothians, which had been affected by the credit crunch. So far, the Spring Sales have helped generate more than £6 million worth of property sales across the five firms.
