This week PR and news photography have been sizzling away in the office. 

It’s been a great four weeks sitting at our senior capturer Lewis Notarangelo’s desk, seeing and learning all about the video and audio work he does, but its now time for me to move. 

As you know I am the team mascot at Holyrood PR and Deadline News and every month I am awarded to the employee who has worked hardest to bring home the bacon. 

And this month’s winner, our photographer Duncan Simpson has worked harder than most this month and so I’ll be moving to join him with the team at Deadline News. 

Not only is Duncan a hard working news photographer, regularly out on the beat fighting it out with other paps to get that news-worthy shot, but he is also fast on his feet when it comes to creative PR images. 

Duncan is regularly used by Holyrood PR on their client campaigns and is also popular with some of Scotland’s other top PR agencies and over the past week alone has been booked for six separate PR jobs, on top of his regular news work – showing just how hard working he is!

I’m looking forward to spending the next four weeks with Duncan and fidning out more about what he does – you never know he may even take a few snaps of me to share with you all! 

So a big well done to Duncan for bringing home the bacon this month!
