Favourite artist amongst bikers and tattooists alike has found himself on STV local after news of his first major art exhibition in Scotland.

Terry Bradley is set to bring his colourful designs to the capital for the Live Art At The Festival at the end of the month.

Belfast born Bradley is already a huge hit with celebs including Bono and Ronan Keating and boasts a cult following among devotees of body art and fans of iconic motorcycle brand, Harley-Davidson.

His works which feature characters inspired by Belfast’s docklands area and the New York burlesque world is expected to create a buzz at the festival which has been born as part of an ambitious drive to make art more accessible.

The exhibition is the brainchild of Bob Corsie, managing director of the Scottish chain of Breeze Galleries, who has exclusive rights to exhibit Bradley’s work in Scotland.

Mr Corsie is organising the Live Art at the Festival event which will run for 16 days in St Andrews Square, offering anyone from toddlers to art aficionados a chance to see or try something new.

Live Art at the Festival will also host daily demonstrations by a range of contemporary Scottish artists, while visitors will be able to plant a colourful handprint on an iconic “Cow Parade” cow which will be auctioned for charity.
