Blue Monday? Not at this PR Agency

Holyrood PR TV 142 – Edinburgh PR Agency Get BBC Coverage

Blue Monday is upon us – calculated using different variables and mathematical equations to conclude that the third Monday in January is shown to be the most depressing.

This week’s theme in Holyrood PR TV is all about debunking that myth with news of all the best coverage we got for our clients this week.

Double Hit for Clients on the TV

To shake off the Monday Blues, Holyrood client and Care and Home provider – Bield – were very excited to see their tenant George Mulveny on BBC Breakfast’s Living Longer feature. Mr Mulveny gave tips to BBC reporters about what he suggests is the key to a long and happy life. In his case, a small game of indoor bowls.

Our second client to feature under the studio spotlight was the team from Can Do Towns Innovation Challenge, who have announced progress in their plans to renovate Scotland’s oldest stand windmill in Carluke. An interview with Iain Scott followed the three minute segment around the mill and its supportive neighbours. We didn’t stop there – as we made sure the story also featured in online business titles around the nation and locally in the Carluke Gazette.

TWO CLIENTS, TWO NATIONAL TITLES

Moving into property, we secured spots in the national property pages for Bell Ingram and Warners Solicitors and Estate Agents. Bell Ingram’s Orkney writer’s retreat in Burness on the island of Sanday.

This was followed by an early prediction from Warners’ Estate Agency Partner, Scott Brown, who said,

“There is an undoubted new confidence in the property market, fuelled by greater job security, the recovering UK economy, continued cheaper loans and schemes such as Help to Buy.

That has lead to some people becoming big winners in the property market in 2014 with properties going to closing dates and competition pushing up prices, in some exceptional cases, to 20% over valuation”.

Warners’ expert forecast appeared in front of the nation in The Sunday Times’ Home supplement.
