Blood bank deal for courier firm hits the headlines

Eagle Couriers has signed a deal with the Scottish National Blood Transfusion Centre to carry out vital transfer and delivery work.

The national blood bank already has a sophisticated systme for moving transfusion stocks as well as blood and tissue sampls for lab purposes.

However, it needed a trusted expert to cover any gaps in the system and help out at peak times – and that prestigious contract has now been awarded to Scotland’s leading independent courier firm.

News of the deai was reported by the Aberdeen-based Press & Journal, as well as The Scotsman.
