Generous residents at a Biggar care home have shown their support for Red Nose Day 2013

Red Nose Day’s slogan was to “do something funny for money” and residents Winnie White, 84 and Jessie Brodie, 88, both of Bield’s Langvout Court care home did just that by sporting red noses while enjoying the telethon, found in Peeblesshire News.

They particularly enjoyed the Call the Midwife sketch with their favourite comedian, Miranda Hart.

Hannah Wade, Senior Care Assistant for Bield, said: “Red Nose is such a fantastic day because it not only raises money for a great cause but also provides entertainment that is second to none.

“Here at Langvout Court we are fully invested in the Bield Philosophy Free to Be, and it is up to our service users to decide what they watch and when, and it was lovely to all get together and celebrate.”
