Scottish PR Agency help leading care and housing provider take over the headlines

CANolympics BLUR copyBield, a Scottish care and housing provider, has scored coverage success this month with many stories making their way into local publications and online titles thanks to award winning PR agency, Holyrood PR.

The CANolympics, a local sporting event for care services was held at the beginning of the month. The event encourages residents to participate in regular physical activity and allows tenants from the local area to meet each other and socialise.

Regional paper the West Lothian Courier featured the story and the event was recognised on two online publications Scottish Housing news and Scottish Federation of Housing Associations, both successful industry titles.

Media also picked up on the story of staff from one of Bield’s developments in Edinburgh raising over £1000 for a resident in need of medical equipment. This heart warming story was featured on several online publications such as Care and Nursing magazine, Scottish Federation of Housing Associations and Scottish Housing News.

6 JUL - George McCallum FundraiserFurther coverage was achieved after residents of a Bield development in West Lothian held a fundraiser to raised money to support women facing breast cancer. The event was a strawberry tea party and included highland dancing, a raffle and of course, lots of tea. At Holyrood PR we always look to secure coverage in industry titles and so we were thrilled that this story featured in both Scottish Housing News and the Scottish Federation of Housing Associations website.

8 JUL www.scottishhousingnews.comAnd finally a pamper day was held at Gillie Court in Dunfermilne at the start of July. Residents received mani/pedi’s, hair styling and massages as part of the fundraiser which aimed to raise money for a beauty room which will be used for treatments that may have therapeutic benefits for the tenants. The Scottish Federation of Housing Associations, Care and Nursing Magazine and Scottish Housing News all picked up the story.

Bield had yet another round of great coverage this month and the media attention they received reflects the on going hard work from the team at Holyrood PR and the dedication at telling the stories that are at the heart of every business.
