Bield celebrations shared far and wide in care pr
Despite August being an extremely busy month, here at Holyrood PR, our PR experts managed to achieve heaps of positive media coverage for Scotland’s leading care and housing provider Bield.
We kicked off the month by sharing the story of Grendon Court’s 30th Anniversary. To celebrate the development had a party and looked back at the success the development has achieved across three decades.
Bield have also been doing a lot of charity work this month, with Tenants at Southfield Court donating gifts to underprivileged children in Malawi and Bield Fundraiser, Kevin Rowe, walking 96 miles walk along the Kintyre Way, in order to raise money to benefit all the developments across Scotland.
Again these storied were picked up by local press, with Kevin’s charity walk featuring in the Edinburgh Evening News and The Edinburgh Reporter and the great story on the Southfield Court Tenants being picked up by the East Lothian News. They were also of great interest to care press, with Care Home and Scottish Federation Housing Association both picking up the story.
Bield’s latest property developments – The Walled Gardens in St Andrews and St Andrew’s View in Bearsden have also been raking in the coverage this month. These stories were picked up in key property publications including the Scotsman, The Herald Scotland’s Homes and The Daily Express UK.
Finally, Bield value the roles played by volunteers as they believe the greatly enhance and enrich the lives of the tenants. So this month they have been making an extra effort to recruit volunteers and these efforts were picked up in many publications including the Linlithgow Gazette, Airdrie and Coatbridge Advertiser, Scottish Housing News and many others.
