Fraser Suite- FurkinA unique online interior design magazine ‘Furkin’ has featured boutique hotel ‘Fraser Suites Edinburgh’ within its picture gallery of leading designed hotels.

The building was designed in 1870 by the infamous Edinburgh architect David Bryce.

Over the years the building has housed both the Edinburgh Courant Newsroom, and the City Council offices. Since its careful refurbishment into ‘Fraser Suites’ in which the architect ensured all original features were maintained, or carefully re-matched.

The article depicts the history and exquisite interior and exterior architecture of the building that has been carefully restored – the article states: “The high-quality conversion of the mid-Victorian building to a new apartment hotel has a range of accommodation including studio apartments, one-bedroom apartments and suites.”

The hotel boasts breathtaking views, while still being situated right in the heart of the city – this ensures all Edinburgh attractions are within walking distance.

The piece can be viewed on furkin.com and was secured as part a successful PR campaign carried out by the Holyrood Partnership.
