A renewable expert from Scotland’s lead land agent has appeared in Hotel Magazine to provide information on how a hotel can boost its green credentials.

Nigel Benson from Bell Ingram gave a magazine reader advice on how to use renewable energy to its best capacity at a hotel venue.

He is quoted in the piece saying: “The renewable energy sources are solar, biomass, heatpumps, wind and hydro.

“Those which best suit you will be very dependant on your situation and the energy demands of your business. Feed In Tariffs (FIT) and a proposed Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) can make them a good investment in the right cicumstances.”

Bell Ingram is best known for managing 500,000 hectares of land across the UK, and earlier this year, organised fact-finding sessions to cut through confusion surrounding small scale renewable schemes and microgeneration projects.

The Perth-based business has built a respected and trusted name in rural land and property matters since the firm was established 112 years ago.

The article in Hotel Magazine was secured as part of a sustained PR campaign carried out by public relations agency Holyrood PR.
