Bell Ingram Announce the acquisition of an Arran Estate Agency

Bell Ingram Press releases

The UK’s leading providers of land management services are delighted to announce they are taking over an estate agency on the Isle of Arran.

Bell Ingram will now head Homes on Arran from September 30 to drive forward the growing property market on the island while providing extra services, a local agency might not be able to help with.

In addition to its office in Ayr, Bell Ingram will also continue to operate the Homes on Arran Office at the Douglas Centre in Brodick to offer its expert advice to those on the island itself.

Colin MurdochColin Murdoch, who will now be in charge of property sales, is delighted to be bringing his agency expertise to Arran as he thinks it will give both old and new clients the best exposure possible to the growing market.

He said: “We are thrilled to be taking over Homes on Arran as we have so much to bring to the area. We’ve been taking on more and more properties on Arran over the past six months, so the timing for this is perfect.

“It’s great as both existing and new clients will benefit from the experience of a national company, with access to specialist agents, planning and design staff who have years of experience in the field.

“We can also offer great exposure to the market for our clients as well as help with forestry work, estate management, micro renewable work and evaluations, something which a local agency cannot always offer.

“This is an exciting time for us and we very much look forward to meeting all our new clients on the island and expanding our knowledge to this beautiful part of Scotland.”

Judy Draycott, who owned Homes on Arran, will still play a role within Bell Ingram by acting as a consultant, offering advice to certain clients on the island.

Judy has lived on Arran for more than 16 years and has a strong background in renovation and sales and is looking forward to Bell Ingram continuing to build on the trustworthy client relationships she has helped create.

She said: “To quote Eddie Stobart, “Only the best will do”.  This is what I have based my search on in choosing a company with a great reputation of serving clients well and having the best exposure on the open market for my clients’ properties.”

Colin added: “I am particularly looking forward to building on our knowledge of the local area and the experience that Judy has delivered for many years.

“We’re all looking forward to meeting the clients and continuing the long-lasting relationships which already exist and giving our expert advice at every possible opportunity”.
