Banks Renewables have dived back into the news this week, as they gained coverage in Dumfries and Galloway! Whats Going On? and The Galloway Gazette.

The wind energy company have granted £5000 to the Kircudbright swimming pool, which is 100% community owned and operated, for replacement gas boilers. This was granted through the Banks Community Fund.

Development director at Banks Renewables, Colin Anderson commented: “As a completely community run venture, Kirkcudbright Swimming Pool is exactly the type of organisation our fund was designed to help.

“This could be just the beginning of a whole host of benefits the area could receive should the plans be approved as it is our firm intention to create job opportunities, invest in training schemes and supporting worthwhile local projects.”

This coverage was achieved as part of an ongoing campaign for The Banks Group.
