Warners Solicitors & Estate Agents has receicved another piece of high profile coverage in the national press for its latest views on the Scottish property market.
The firm was featured in the news pages of The Scotsman, which reported on how Warners had identified a growing trend for grandparents to help fuel growth in the housing sector.
According to Warners’ estate agency partner Scott Brown, a new group is emerging to provide help to beleagured househunters in Scotland – the bank of gran and granddad. He argued that the recession meant that many parents – the so-called “bank of mum and dad” – were unable to afford to help their kids get a foot on the proeprty ladder, so grandparents were stepping in to provide financial help instead.
