The star, from Scotland, pledged her support to Any Dog’il Do, a rescue centre based in her home town of Edinburgh.  As an animal lover and with a passion for animal welfare, Louise was thrilled to be a part of the charity.

Set up in 2011, the organisation now has around 100 volunteers and 10 co-ordinators, all working to rehome and save dogs from euthanasia or being abandoned.  Louise, 28, was so shocked and moved by the stories from the rehoming centre, that she volunteered to bring as much awareness to the charity as possible.

The actress, a former pupil of Fettes College in Edinburgh, plans to use her star power to spread the word about the cause and hopefully draw more attention to the Edinburgh based charity.  Louise currently has three movie projects 19 SEP Third Force News PG 12 CROPthis year and has starred alongside Hollywood legends including Christopher Walken, Meryl Streep and Tom Cruise.

Louise’s diary is packed promoting three major movie releases, including two leading lady roles and a part in an eagerly anticipated Warren Beatty blockbuster and hopes to use that hectic schedule to promote the organisation.

Having personally been involved in rescuing and rehoming dogs from the streets of LA, Louise is the perfect first Ambassador for the centre.  The star is also an Ambassador for major Scottish charity, The Erskine Trust, which is designed to support Scottish veterans injured in Iraq and Afghanistan.  10 SEP Deadlinenews.co.uk CROP

Her new role has attracted a lot of press, including coverage from the Edinburgh Evening News and an article in Deadline News.  This is great news not only for Louise, but for Any Dog’il Do, creating a lot of exposure for both actress and organisation.

She has also received recognition both online and in print from Third Force News, who listed her as one of their “Good Movers” this month.
