One of Edinburgh’s ;eading press agencies has run a story featuring Norfolkline’s first anniversary celebrations.
Under the headline “Ship shape skipper at heart of Norfolkline ferry anniversary” the story by Deadline Press & Picture Agency explains the significant sailing on the first anniversary of Norfolkline’s Rosyth to Zeebrugge route.
As Norfolkline celeberated one year of Scotland’s only direct sea link to Europe, the occasion was marked with a landmark sailing helmed by the captain who missed out on the maiden sailing.
Captain Antonio Arbilli was due to sail the first ever ferry but suffered a heart blockage minutes before setting leaving Zeebrugge in Belgium. But a year later he was able to take his rightful position on the boat and set sail with ease.
Chris Newey, Norfolkline’s general manager on the route, is also quoted in the story as well as First Minister Alex Salmond who expressed his congratulations to Captain Arbilli.
The full article can be found on the Deadline Press Agency website and the coverage was secured as part of an ongoing PR campaign carried out the Holyrood PR.
