A newspaper covering the Liverpool and north west area of England has featured an article on a contender in this year’s US Kids Golf Tournament.
The Liverpool Daily Post wrote a piece detailing Eloise Healey’s triumphant win at the third annual tournament which saw more than 400 golfers from around the world compete for the title of European champion.
This year, 12-year-old Eloise won her third title at the event by winning her group and now is only one of three competitors to win the event three years in sucession.
Dan Van Horn, president of the US Kids Golf Foundation who organised the tournament, is quoted in the piece, praising the efforts of the participants.
The U.S Kids Golf European Championship was organised by the U.S Kids Golf Foundation to promote the sport to young people and their families.
Overall around 500 of the world’s best young golfers competed at the tournament, which is one of the highlights of the junior golf calendar.
The full article can be found on the Liverpool Daily Post website and was secured as part of a successful PR and social media campaign carried out by the Holyrood PR.
