on behalf of Vittoria and La Favorita
The popular Edinburgh restaurant chain will open the doors of its three venues on Sunday March 8, as part of a females-only evening aimed at celebrating the event and raising money for under-privileged children in the Capital.
Under the charity initiative, all three Vittoria’s venues are offering a special £20-per-head three course meal to celebrate International Women’s Day – a global celebration for the economic, political and social achievements of women.
Diners will greeted on the night with a glass of sparkling Rocco bubbly and will be offered a range of pampering treats, including complimentary manicures from leading nail technicians and make-overs from beauty experts.
The three venues – Vittorias on the Bridge, Vittorias on the Walk and La Favorita – will also be hosting special raffles to win a champagne meal for four, with all of the proceeds being donated to the Forth1 and Forth2 Cash for Kids Appeal.
The event is the third time that Vittoria has celebrated International Women’s Day, following previous successful evenings in 2007 and 2008.
Linda McKeown, manager at Vittoria on the Bridge, said: “These evenings have always been popular when we have hosted them in the past, so we’re delighted to be celebrating International Women’s Day again this year.
“All of the events at our restaurants will be for women-only, so it’s a chance for the girls to come out and have a great time while helping raise money for a very worthy cause.
“We have fantastic live entertainment and a host of professional nail technicians and make-up artists who will be on hand to make it an evening to remember.
“International Women’s Day is growing every year and is a particularly popular celebration in Italy. We’re hoping we can bring some of that Mediterranean carnival spirit to our restaurants.”
The three restaurants – Vittorias on the Bridge, Vittorias on the Walk, and La Favorita – will also have live entertainment on the night.
