A Judy Murray backed initiative which aims to eradicate tennis' elitist status by providing coaching to children has been giving a helping hand thanks to a £1000 donation from CALA homes. Perth based Scottish Tennis Holidays offer coaching, equipment and scholarships to youngsters and also aims to help those who may not otherwise get a chance to discover the game. For more than 19 years the club has been providing tennis coaching, weeklong tennis and multisport courses in and around Perth – located at Kinnoull Tennis Club, Perth, one of the leading clubs in the North County.QUESTION: What do Judy Murray, eradicating elitism and budding tennis superstars all have in common?

ANSWER:  A great photo call.

British sport’s most famous mum is still celebrating the fact that she is soon to be a gran, after Andy Murray and wife Kim announced their welcome baby news.

But just before that major story broke, hardworking Judy was doing her bit to help promote a worthwhile new initiative to help get more kids playing tennis.

And we were lucky enough to be there, organising the photocall on behalf of our client, CALA Homes which generously backed the worthwhile scheme.

COVERAGE WHICH REQUIRES NO PHOTOSHOPPING

The opportunity had our imaginations firing with a wealth of potential ideas to help tell the story in the most visual way possible.Holyrood PR in Edinburgh secure excellent media coverage for luxury home builder CALA Homes

With smiling kids, enough rackets to go round, access to a tennis court and a plentiful supply of CALA branded tennis balls, we were good to go.

As well as arranging a professional photographer to capture the fun images for CALA, we invited key players from the Scottish media, including photographers and TV camera operators.

Hawkeye most definitely was not required to ensure we had made a good call – the results spoke for themselves with coverage rolling in faster than an Andy Murray serve.

Coverage ranged from STV News to the Courier, The Herald to the Evening Telegraph and even one of the world’s most read tennis websites thrown in for good measure, news spread far and wide.

What’s more, we also caught the event on video, making sure that CALA and the tennis initiative have another important record of the event – and a powerful way to share the story with others.
