81-year-old completes 81-mile hike for Scottish charity Calum’s Cabin

AN 81-YEAR-old took on an epic walking challenge to raise cash for a worthy children’s charity.

Big-hearted David Levin is a tenant with our client, Bield Housing and Care – and when they told us about his plan to walk 81 miles in 10 days, we knew it was a story worth sharing.

The determined grandfather, who lives in Bield’s Dean Court development in Bo’ness, raised vital funds for the Calum’s Cabin charity by completing his remarkable trek.

It saw the footsore pensioner trek an average of eight miles each day, during his journey from Bo’ness to Longniddry in East Lothian and back again, leaving a trail of smiles along the way.

To bring David’s inspiring achievement to life, we worked with him to capture impactful PR photographs at every milestone. These high-quality images were used across Bield’s social media platforms and provided visual elements to accompany media releases pitched to key local and national titles.
