Area to get first affordable homes in 60 years, a milestone marked with powerful PR photography
AN IMPORTANT social housing milestone, a dynamic MP and a stunning backdrop added up to a powerful photo opportunity for renowned developer, Cala Homes (East).
In a ground breaking move, the housebuilder started the construction of the first affordable homes in 60 years for the upmarket Edinburgh area of Blackford, marking an important moment for the local community.
The project, situated at the former St Crispin’s School site in Blackford, will introduce a collection of 12 energy-efficient apartments for social rent.
Part of the PR strategy to promote the site was to arrange a visit by local MP, Ian Murray, who represents Edinburgh South. Also taking part was a member of the team from Wheatley Group, which is also playing a crucial role in delivering the highly-anticipated properties.
These compelling visuals were crucial in pitching the story to the media, allowing our property PR team to convey the significance and urgency of the housing situation in Edinburgh in a way more powerful than words alone could achieve.
The photos, expertly captured by accomplished photographer Ian Georgeson. provide a powerful narrative tool that grabs attention, evokes emotion, and inspires action, ensuring that the story of Cala’s transformative project reaches a wide audience, including key stakeholders and the broader public.
