BT Cup winners, Heriots Rugby Club, are set to strongly tackle their next season after securing a vital sponsorship deal with a renowned house builder.
Following a successful two years supporting the club, CALA Homes (East) has announced it will be continuing the teams’ sponsorship for an extended period, totalling three years overall.
Heriots Rugby Club invests the much needed sponsorship funds into the day to day running of the prestigious club, as well as to helping towards payments for coaches, medical staff and nutritionist supplements – all vital for players’ development and wellbeing. The money also helps manage the costs of the youth section including first aid facilities, coaching courses and physiotherapy.
The clubs 1st XV team achieved treble success last season after winning the Charity Shield, BT Scottish Cup and BT Premiership for the first time ever since the club was founded in 1890.
Meanwhile, the youth section of the club has 250 children starting from six years old who attend weekly training sessions and play friendly games every Sunday. This opportunity enables them to stay active with kids their own age and develop their rugby and team skills throughout the season.
