Potential buyers put on alert as resurrected site has completion date

A RENOWNED independent homebuilder has begun construction on a 34-home site previously left in limbo.
Dundas took on the residential development in Haddington, which had started construction under developer Stewart Milne before its collapse.
After acquiring the site earlier in the summer, Dundas hopes to fulfil its promise to deliver quality housing to the area.
Craig Fairfoull, Sales & Marketing Director at Dundas, said:
“Our team has worked diligently to revitalise this project and ensure it meets the high standards our buyers expect. We are pleased to see strong interest already, with several reservations already made, even though not all homes have been released yet.”
The development will see Dundas complete various house types that were akin to those proposed by the previous developer, such as two-bedroom apartments, mid and end terrace homes, and larger detached homes.
In taking on the project, Dundas is building on its recent record in East Lothian, adding to its £35m The Wireworks development located on the banks of the river Esk in Musselburgh.
With construction set to begin, the Letham Views development will bring 34 high-quality homes to the market, offering a variety of three to six-bedroom properties.
Dundas takes pride in crafting homes that enhance the well-being of its valued customers. As a multiple award-winning and independent Scottish homebuilder, it focuses on creating inclusive communities and is dedicated to making the home-buying experience simpler, more enriching, and enjoyable.
