on behalf of Eagle Couriers
A report about how staff at Eagle Couriers accidentally stumbled across an unused 0845 number worth thousands of pounds has been published by leading Scottish business journal Business 7.
The newspaper, which is one of the biggest business titles in Scotland, featured the story on its Networker page – which highlighted how Eagle’s staff discovered the phone line by accident when reviewing the assets from a recent takeover.
The discovery of the number – 0845 123 1230 – was made during a recent expansion move which saw the firm create a new headquarters in Bathgate. The phone line had previously belonged to Edinburgh rival QED Couriers but had passed onto Eagle after it bought out its competitor last year.
