STAY Central Hotel is offering fitness fanatics the chance to get out of the gym and embrace a full work out on the streets of Edinburgh. Ideally located at the heart of Edinburgh’s Old Town, guests and locals alike get the chance to get fit in the most scenic of surroundings.
From running up the Royal Mile, planking in Princes Street Gardens to ab crunching on Calton Hill, visitors to Edinburgh’s trendiest new hotel can now enjoy a whistle stop tour of the city whilst keeping fit.
STAY Central offers four, hour long sessions a week – either running or on bicycle – that are free to attend for both guests and Edinburgh residents.
The run club takes place on Wednesday evening at 6.30pm and Sunday morning at 11am; the cycle club (bikes can be rented from the hotel) is held every Thursday at 6.30pm with the urban gym sessions every Saturday morning at 9am.
The sessions are run by qualified fitness instructors and include the all important warm up period to ensure participants are ready and raring to go whatever the Scottish weather may have in store.
Workouts are also followed by a cool down session to gently restore normal heart rates and stretch out muscles leaving participants rejuvenated and ready for the day ahead.
STAY Central Hotel is the perfect location for both business and leisure travellers, ideally positioned in the heart of Edinburgh’s Old Town. From this prime location in the Cowgate, it is a mere three minute walk to the centre of The Royal Mile and many of Edinburgh’s infamous landmarks
