Window Wins Edinburgh PR Success for Fraser Suites

Times Fraser Suites ArticleThe Times newspaper has reported on the discovery of a stained glass window discovered in a new Edinburgh hotel.

Renovaters working on the building that has now become Fraser Suites Edinburgh found the stained glass window when restoring the building on the city’s St Giles Street to its former glory.

The article reported on the discovery of the three panel stained glass display which bears the Latin motto – “vivendo discimus” – which means by living we learn.

The newspaper explained how Aberdeenshire-born Geddes had innovated the concept of university halls under the headline of: “Lost panel is link to planning innovator Sir Patrick Geddes”.
