A corporate travel management company is aiming to save SME’s around 10% on their travel bills with a transparent fee system.

Equilibrium Travel (EQ) which was set up by Franc Jeffrey has already projected to achieve a £3million in its first year thanks to contracts with six corporate clients.

EQ has also revealed that companies could be saving on corporate travel costs by using its services thanks to its introduction of a fee based system rather than the more common ‘fee plus hidden charges’ model used by many travel management companies.

Franc said “A travel company which relies on hidden charges is always likely to be drawn to higher value tickets as it provides the best returns for them.

EQ will bring clarity and transparency to corporate travel bookings by charging a flat fee.

“This means we can search and choose the best deals and options to meet the company’s travel budget and policy.

The company is also offering a meetings and events department and will offer services in marine and offshore travel.
