30 obstacles, one charity, one PR team on a quest to become Total PR Warriors
It is now just under 10 weeks to go until our five strong team face a 12km run along a course where the water logged track is deliberately churned up to create a sinew-straining mud that would slow down even the finest endurance athletes.
In order to ensure we are as prepared as possible we have seriously stepped up our training and we wanted let you in on some of the action.
If you think our pain is worth it, please visit our mydonate page and give whatever you can to this great cause.
Our team, along with the thousands of other participants, will soon be conquering thirty obstacles which will test us not only physically but mentally; including leaping over fire, being submerged in a dark tank full of ice cold water and running through a field filled with electric wires.
In addition to the weekly workout sessions with our personal trainer we are now attending spin classes every Thursday and a kettlebells class every other Tuesday to prepare us as much as possible for the extremely tough challenge we face in September.
We thought it would be a good idea to let you see how we have been getting on in training, and give you a bit of a laugh at the same time, so we invited our videographer along to our training sessions to film our punishing preparation and show you there really is no gain without pain.
And once you have seen exactly what we are putting ourselves through, we hope it will encourage you to make a small donation – after all we are doing this for a fantastic cause.
To do this all you have to do is visit our mydonate page, it only takes a couple of minutes and all the money we raise is going to the SSC, an amazing charity which runs summer camps and activities for children age 10-18 in Scotland.
