THAT’S NOT A BEARD…THIS IS A BEARD (Aimee)

For all those males (or females) who lack the ability to grow a nice patch of facial hair then I have found you a solution for a limited time period only. In time for the onset of autumn and the horrors of winter which will follow I bring you the Beard Hat-courtesy of online fashion store Beardo.

The rather nifty looking knitted head gear comes in several beanie styles and the best part-you can choose from a range of different coloured beards.  If you feel the winter blues setting in, a yellae beard could do wonders for your emotional well-being and at only $36.99 get stocking up on the Beard Hat because these winter warmers can be shipped worldwide.

TECH STUDETS INSTALL MEGA TETRIS AT UNI (Adrian)

As far as classic games go, you can’t get much better than Tetris. The Russian-made Game Boy title was the world’s first big puzzler and strategy game and had millions of people – including me – hooked to the screen. But despite being over 20 years old, the original 4-bit version of the game has never been surpassed by newer Tetris titles on more advanced consoles. Well, until now at least.
A team of students has now created a two-player, mega version of the game, using LEDs and Playstation dance pads. And it looks phenomenal. Unfortunately it’s a one off at the moment, but I demand that this be manufactured and sold as soon as possible. It’s exactly the kind of thing that you need to bring out at a party rather than your Wii or Kinnect.

HOMEMADE DAFT PUNK HELMET (Scott)

There are some awfy clever people out there. Including the bunch who spent an inordinate amound of time and effort making replica Daft Punk helmets. This is a very amusing and watchable video. But it stretches the concept of ‘homemade’ a bit far!

THE BEST HALLOWEEN PROP EVER? (Adrian)

Halloween is just over a month away, so it’s almost time to cut the pumpkins and dust off the decorations for another year. But if you really want to give the young ‘uns a proper scare this October 31st, why not invest $3500 in this awesome prop – the Axe Killer Animatronic Door.
Featuring A DVD film of a serial killing axe murderer, this fake door comes to life with special effects and sounds that look like they were purely designed to frighten young kids (and most adults). It certainly beats the limited scares your plastic skeleton is likely to achieve…

YOU’VE GOT TO BE ABLE TO LAUGH AT YOURSELF (Scott)

Hopefully if you’ve found your way to this page, then you already know we are a PR company? If not – then you do now (maybe you could check our Who We Are and Who We Work With pages).
Ethics are important to us. But in between all the serious, brow-furrowing discussion to make sure we are transparent and honest at all times, we also like to have a laugh.
So, this Dilbert cartoon made me snort my morning tea out of my nostrils. Hilarious.
